Our Mission
Every year, millions of students search GPA converter to 4.0, CGPA to GPA converter, percentage to GPA converter or college GPA calculator before applying abroad. Most tools use flat math (×9.5 or ÷25) that misrepresents how universities actually grade. We built the alternative: a percentile band interpolation engine — the same logic credential evaluators use — wrapped in a fast, private interface anyone can use.
We believe academic tools should be accurate, accessible, and private. That is why everything runs client-side: your grades never leave your device, transcripts are processed in-browser, and PDFs are generated locally with jsPDF. No server sees your marks.

How Our Conversion Works
Unlike simple ×9.5 calculators, we replicate how evaluators convert grades:
Score → Percentile
Locate your exact percentile band (e.g., India A 70–79%) and interpolate your position within it to get a precise percentile.
Percentile → Target Grade
Map that percentile to the equivalent band on the target scale (US 4.0, German 5, ECTS, etc.).
Grade + GPA + Percent
Return all three — plus shareable link & PDF transcript — so you see the full picture, not just a number.

Who's Behind It?
We're a small, independent team of developers and former international students who got frustrated translating grades between systems. The project started in 2024 as an open converter for Indian CGPA → US GPA and grew into a full GPA platform after hearing from students in Bangladesh, Nigeria, Germany, Pakistan and beyond who needed the same clarity.
We are not an evaluation agency and are not affiliated with any university, WES, or government body — we're a student-focused utility that aims to be transparent, explainable, and easy to audit. Grading logic is visible in src/data/systems.ts.
