Everything you need to convert, calculate, plan, and export your grades. All tools run 100% in your browser — no account, no uploads to a server. Conversions use band midpoint interpolation via Estimated percentage equivalent, not a flat ×9.5 multiplier.

GPA / CGPA Converter — Standard CGPA 4.0 (A+,A,A-...), Indian 10, German, US, UK & 30+ scales

Convert any grade to any other via Estimated percentage equivalent as neutral bridge. Fail in one system stays fail in every system.

Steps

  1. Choose Input system (e.g., Standard CGPA 4.0 (A+,A,A-...) or Estimated percentage equivalent) and enter your score.
  2. Choose Output system (e.g., Canada 4.33 reference, Estimated Netherland grading system, Estimated Italy grading system).
  3. See Will convert to preview, then big Converted Output card: score, label, ≈ % intermediate, and band.
  4. Use ⇄ Swap to reverse, Copy Result, or Copy Link (`?from=&to=&score`) to share.

How it works

  • score → % (band midpoint) → % → target band GPA. More accurate than `×25` or `×9.5`.
  • Fail consistency: F (e.g., `Standard CGPA 0`, `German 5.0`, `Philippines 5.0`) maps to F everywhere (Norway F without numbers).
  • Estimated percentage equivalent is the 0–100% bridge shown as ≈ 64.5%.
  • Custom System: only valid matrices (0→100, no gaps/overlaps, GPA ↑ with %) are saved — invalid matrices are blocked with red errors.
Note: Conversions are estimates based on the selected grading scheme. Universities may use different institutional rules. Always verify with the receiving institution.

Weighted CGPA Calculator

Semester Planner / Degree Tracker

  1. Upload marksheet image (JPG/PNG), PDF, CSV or TXT — or paste text like Math 4.0 3 or Math,4,3.
  2. PDF: text layer extracted via pdfjs-dist (fallback to rendering + OCR if scanned). Image: OCR via tesseract.js 100% in-browser — files never leave your device. Progress bar shows %.
  3. Click Parse → preview table, edit OCR text if needed, then Import to Calculator →. Data is stored in localStorage and auto-fills Calculator & Transcript Builder.

Transcript Builder — Up to 12 Semesters, Convert & Print

Build a styled transcript from your grades, convert between any two grading systems, and export as PDF or print.

  1. Fill Student info (Name, ID, Program, Institution).
  2. Choose Transcript Source System (how your uploaded numbers are interpreted, e.g., Standard CGPA 4.0, German 1.0-5.0, Philippines 1.0-5.0) and Convert CGPA to (target). All GPA validations use source max (German/Philippines 1–5, others 0–max).
  3. Use Semester tabs (max 12) → + Add Semester, Duplicate, rename, switch. Each tab’s table shows Converted column when source ≠ target.
  4. Import from Calculator pulls current Calculator rows into the active semester; Transcript Scanner import also lands here.
  5. Summary shows Cumulative CGPA (Source) → Converted (Target) + Estimated percentage equivalent. Click Download PDF (styled with header, per-semester subtotals, cumulative + converted) or Print (browser print, print-only styles).
  6. Fail in any course in any semester → cumulative CGPA 0.00 (hidden logic).

Custom Grade Matrix Builder — Strict Validation

Design your university’s exact scale. Only strictly valid matrices are saved and usable in Converter.

Rules enforced (blocking)

  • GPA numeric and ≥0
  • Percentage 0–100, min ≤ max (no auto-swap)
  • No overlapping bands (hi ≥ lo → error)
  • No gaps — must cover 0→100 fully (gap 51–89 etc. → error)
  • Failing band at 0% required (e.g., F 0–39%)
  • GPA ↑ with % — higher percent must have higher GPA
  • At least one band, non-empty grade & name

How to use

  1. Start from preset (4.0 Academic, Plus/Minus, 10-Point) or + Add grade row.
  2. Fill Grade / GPA / Min–Max %. Red banner lists blocking errors — not saved until fixed.
  3. Green ✓ Valid matrix → auto-saved to localStorage; Share URL (hash) and Use in Converter → become enabled. Invalid matrices show ⛔ Custom system invalid in Converter and block conversion.
  4. Export JSON / Import JSON for backup.

Privacy: PDF text extraction (pdfjs-dist) and image OCR (tesseract.js) run entirely in your browser. Files never leave your device.

Multiple semesters: Transcript Builder allows up to 12 semesters — duplicate a semester to keep similar course lists.

Dark mode & contrast: Toggle via moon/sun button; muted text is brightened (`#C2CBE6` on `#17192B`) and dark-panel text uses `white/85` for readability.

Sharing: Converter Copy Link encodes `?from=&to=&score&custom` hash; Custom Builder Share URL encodes `#custom=` JSON.
